I learned to cook, can, freeze and bake early in life.My job each Saturday morning was to bake enough bread for the coming week. We had seven to eight mouths to feed each day.My family canned 700-1000 quarts of food from our garden each year. Those quarts did not include what we froze and made into juice.Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. I love to play with my food and try different ways to revamp a recipe.These are my own original recipes that have been tested and tried. Youll not find them any other place.These recipes are a result of cooking for a friend who is gluten and sugar intolerant. She loved them so much she urged me to write the recipes down and share them with others.We tested and tasted many combinations to discover which ones were the best.Sometimes Id cook something and when she tasted it shed say to me, Rebecca, write this down.
